The ‘2024 World Drone Racing Championship,’ organized by the World Air Sports Federation (FAI), will be held in Hangzhou, China, starting October 31, with over 120 top-tier athletes from 33 countries competing. South Korea is dispatching its elite national team, including Kim Min-chan, Kim Min-jae (ages 16 and 18), Choi Won-gyun, and Mo Ga-yeon, who passed the selection trials, to challenge for both individual and team titles. The Korean national team is a strong contender, having previously won championships in individual and junior categories, and plans to solidify its world-class status by also participating in the Riyadh World Cup in Saudi Arabia immediately following this competition.
